the book relly is not anything like the series i mean the first few episodes were like it but then they turned out nothing like but i still like watching it.

I love the tv show…read the series, stayed 2 the storyline a bit but that new vamp that took down logan (not suposed 2 B a vamp…suposed 2 B a vamp slayer or such) Merideth wasnt in there, bonnies suposed 2 hav red hair, stefan green eyes, damon black eyes, kathrin + elana + caroline are suposed 2 hav blond hair.any way soooo exited about the movie.

i’ve seen the vampire diaries for 7 episodes and i’ve read the vampire diaries book a long time ago but still,
elena is a blond girl, right? and she has a blue eyes. when did elena has a brother? i thought stefan has a green eyes. the black wavy hair is fine though. and why do they have to make taylor swift as the long-lost sister of stefan & damon? the book didn’t say that they have a sister.
the series is way too far from the book itself – not too far.
gosh, the book is much better i guess.
now i know what the twilight saga’s reader feel when they saw the movie.
hurm, whatever. still gonna watch this series until the end.

this story is way too far. i knew it. thanks for ruining my character. the vampire diaries is much better than twilight and i love the character in the book. and yet, you ruined it all.
ya the book and the series are to totally different plots and stories.
However, i think they are both very well put in their own ways.
i do think elena should be a blonde, and hav a little sister. those are major differences.
also Meridith should be in the show 2. and caroline was only elenas friend until elena and stephan started going out.
and bonnie had red hair.
and aunt jennas name should be judith.
and much more.
But the show itself is better than what i would hav expected it to be, even if it doesnt relate to the books very much.
BTW: wile i was reading the books, based on their ettiquite, and choice of words, they sound like their in the early 1900s to me. i mean, teenagers dont usually use THAT well of choise of words, rite? i mean i dont.

And also to the person moaning about the differences between the book and TV show. LJ Smith didn’t write the tv series. Someone else did. they dont have to stick to the book….its BASED on the book it doesnt claim to be a representation of it. yes, I get how its annoying..i read the books nearly a decade ago now but i’m not moaning about why elenas hair isnt the right colour haha.
Nina Dobrev is fantastic. I love the books, but I do think the tv series portrays the characters much more maturely and more lovable. Elena in the book seemed like a complete blonde bimbo!
The Vampire Diaries airs in the UK in January on ITV2 around the same date episode 11 starts in America. i think I’ll watch them again on the big HD screen and record them! =D

They didn’t post it because the episode airs in about 6 of 7 hours. It’s in the netherlands 18:57 or 8:57 pm (i think) and it is in NY right now 3:57 if I’m correct.

We love this show every thursday night we watch it but the only problem we have with this show is there are wayyy to many commershials its so anoyying and its even worst because the commershials are wayy to long if they dont want them to lose there tv veiwers then they better lower there commershial count!!!!!
