The vampire diaries cast soo beats the twilight cast and i used to be a huge twilight fan untill i started watching this. Stefan sooo beats robert pattinson(edward cullen), kellan lutz (emmett cullen), jackson rathbone (Jasper hale) and taylor lautner (Jacob black)
Hell no Edward and emmet are so much hotter!!!!!!!! Emmett looks better when he not a vampire thought and jacbo is ok but edward and emmett are so much better!!!!!! and jasper is ugly in everyway!!

first off, at least the vampires in this have reason to be out in the day time. Fuck sparkle vampires. If a boy sparkles & is scared of a girl then it’s obvious he is gay. Come on now. I truly hate Twilight. I like real vampires, the ones who eat people. What the hell would a 2000 some year old vampire want with a moody emo high school girl who’s 18? That’s f**king stupid. Second, True blood is pretty amazing. Real vampires again. They EAT PEOPLE and SLEEP during the f**king day. I’m pretty sure Bill Compton would kick Edwards ass in a heart beat. if their hearts could beat.
Lol. Totally. I was seriously sad when Bill started burning when he was saving Sookie from what’s-his-name who killed her gran. Aw, so sad:(!

hello people i must say that i am a very happy bunny lately.. cuzz i have been a vamp lover for a long time and all of the sudden in the last couple of years there has been a sort of boom with the whole vampire theme. this obviously has its pros (cool tv series like TB and TVD) and cons (like twilight..puagh!!!…sparkling fangless vamps….WHAT IS THAT???!!!) i have read a few books and now hit a bit of a dry spot..i have read all the anne rice (the best in my opinion..i recommend to all the genre fans.) all the TB and TVD books i managed to get my hands on and the original Stokers Dracula (that was a hard one…)so my question is..Has anyone heard of any GOOD vampire books that they would recommend??

1. The Huntress Novels by Jeaniene Frost – not sure how many books
2. Karen Chance – the first book is Touch the Dark, next one is Claimed by Shadow, I think there is three more not sure, still looking
3. The House of Night Series by Pc Cast and Kristen Cast, first one is Marked, 2nd Betrayed then Chosen then Untamed then Hunted and Tempted is coming out on the 27th of October 2009
4. Also the BBC series of True Blood – eight books in the first season

the vampire academy is a good one, theres 3 or 4 books
i reading this book called real vampires have curves and also the sookie stackhouse books are really good
well i have also been a great fan of the vamp ganra so there is marked by p.c. cast and kristin cast and the subsequint sequils very adicting and a bit of a different spin on the vampire theam then if you dont mind some witches and wers mixed in with your vamp stuff there is the novels by kim harrison featuring her caricter rachel morgan other than that there is the gardians of eternity seris by alexandra ivy (techtnicly a romance serise but still realy good) and kerelyn spards has a seiris our though im not shure witch novles is the start any more though i have read them all (again another romance one but still realy good) and now im going to be a bit lazy and stop looking on my book shelf because i do have otthers but most are listed as romance lol most all of my colection has something to do with fantacy and the paranormal lol
Night World by L.J Smith. She wrote Vampire diaries as well. There is nine books, but they come in 3 books in 1. They are awesome and seriously addictive! The next book is coming out soon.
You could try Vampire Academy that one is I am hooked on it by Richelle Mead you should really try it

I could never understand this human+vampire=happily ever after equation. If I ever met a vampire (if they existed, which they don’t) I would be in constant fear that he would rip me open and drain me like a CapriSun. Take the Twilight series as an example; when I was first told of the series and how good it was I expected it to be a combination of Gone With The Wind and The Bourne Identity. What I got instead was an illiterate child’s fantasy version of a fake Harlequinne romance novel and a pussified version of Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles combined! The first one was terrible and I should’ve stopped there, but I was convinced that the NEXT novel would be the one that made it seem great. Then I got to the fourth one and I stopped reading with 45 pages left, first because I feared I would vomit and second I knew exactly what would happen.(Maybe not in chronological order but the main events.) After I read that series it destroyed my cravings for all things vampire, for a very long time. Then I watched this season of Vampire Diaries and I have to say I think I know where that Meyer woman got her ideas for Twilight, seeing as how Vampire Diaries was published approx. 12 years in advance.
Want to know what I never understood? People who think we want read long ass stories about their hatred for vampires+humans=happily ever after equations and their dumb ass book comparisons. Quit bitching about how you felt about the Twilight series and what you thought it was suposed to be and read another book or something. You should probably just get off the whole vampire subject if you hated it so much. And who the hell leaves 45 pages left in the last book of a series with more than 2,000 pages total? Quit being cool and finish the book already. And who the hell cares where she got the idea from anyway. It looks like she’s doing pretty good with those little movie deals she made.

Scratch that. Its just a really stupid move, because the Vampire Diaries series was just a series of different stories of the paranormal sort and that Twilight woman stuck with Bella Swan and her sickeningly perfect boyfriend, Edward.
one the story lines of the two are realy rather different when one takes the time to analize and two of corese there will be some simileritys between storys honestly there are not truly original ideas out there not 100% original any way they are all just spins on seimiler theames this is in part because to tell a story one must falow the writing formula to even have a story worth telling and two in reality humans are a colective of individuals constantly influanceing one another with there thoughts and actions think about it for a wile and you will see and that is why the saying history is doomed to repeat its self came into being because in fact all things do move in a cycle it may not present in exactly the same way but in fact it is a veriation on an erlyer event plagiarism is a true copy being given your name with only minor changes such as the caricters names for example if someone where to rewrite the twilight books but give the caricters new names that is plagiarism

this is actually a good show! for some reason i didnt think it wuld b cuz im not huge into the vampire thing but i recently read the book evermore by jodi picoult and since then have loved this stuff! lol … it was filmed in n. vancouver bc…ON THE LOT I WORK AT!! lol pretty sweet cuz of that 2 haha but thanks for putting these vids on for free so i can get caught up!!
